"I am writing this testimonial to express the gratitude and admiration I have for the work done by the team at Guiding Hands. The staff have managed to combine their professionalism with compassion and understanding. Their expertise in handling Bryce's unique needs has been evident in every interaction. I am truly impressed by the patience and understanding they show which goes beyond their professional duties. The progress my son has made under their guidance is commendable. They have instilled in him a sense of confidence and self-belief that has enriched his life.

It has been such a pleasure watching the eagerness and joy he exhibits in anticipation of his time at Guiding Hands. This is a testament to the positive and nurturing environment created by the team. My son has not only formed meaningful friendships with other clients, but he has also developed a special bond with the staff. These relationships have enriched his experience, providing him a sense of belonging and community. The staff's genuine interest in my son's well-being has fostered a deep connection, making him feel valued and understood.

I've really enjoyed the interaction with the team which has been consistent and transparent, and in keeping me involved in my son's journey. The care they show for my son's well-being and development is truly heartwarming.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend Guiding Hands highly enough. Their exceptional service and the positive impact they have had on my son's life is truly commendable. I am truly fortunate to have found such a dedicated and caring team to support my son on his journey.

Thank you Guiding Hands for making a difference in our lives."

"I run an Adult Family Home and
three of my residents participate
in the Community Engagement
Program with Guiding Hands.
All three residents absolutely love
their individual Guides and they
really look forward to their outings.
The best part is when they return
home they have smiles on their
faces and can't stop talking about
the fun that they had. I can't
recommend this program enough!
Thank You!

"What a fantastic program. Jennifer
and her staff are absolutely wonderful.
My daughter attends their day program
and I can't believe the change I've seen
in her. They encourage my daughter to
actively participate in group activities and
she absolutely loves it, which I never
thought I would see. It warms my heart to
see her being treated as an equal,
engaging with her peers, and being
included in every activity. I'm forever
grateful and so blessed to have found
them."

"As a parent of an adult son who's profoundly autistic, Wright's Guiding Hands has been an invaluable resource of support for him and for our family. My son attends the program on Thursdays. Our family has gone through hardships including the sudden death of my husband, and Jen and the program have been a pillar of support, compassion and understanding. My son loves Wright's Guiding Hands, greatly benefits from it and is always looking forward to it. He enjoys staying on site and loves the outings such as going bowling, having picnics and going to the state fair or the zoo. Communication with Jen and Melissa has been wonderful. The name "Guiding Hands" is very appropriate as Jen and her staff are very capable, and at the same time their hearts are in the right place. I wholeheartedly recommend "Wright's Guiding Hands" to other families in similar situations. It has been a significant difference in our lives."

“My son, Douglas, is very quiet and it usually takes him a while to get comfortable with new people. Because of this, he doesn't typically like doing any kind of program with a group. However, he loves hanging with the Guiding Hands program! Melissa and Jen have made him feel comfortable from the first time he met them!
He always looks forward, and hates to miss, his day at the Guiding Hands program. As a parent, the communication with Jen and Melissa has been great. They are always there to answer any question I may have. This program has been a dream
come true for both myself and Douglas!"

Melissa for everything you do for
my brother. You've given his life so
much purpose and it brings tears
to my eyes when I see how happy
he is, and it is all because of you.
You are doing incredible things,
God bless you."

"Our son, Jason, has attended Guiding Hands group on Mondays for the past several years. Jennifer and Melissa have provided him with a safe and comfortable environment in which to grow. Due to COVID Jason's sense of independence and well being had declined. The group setting is perfect for him to increase his social and life skills. Interacting with peers has made him so much happier. He sings out loud now all the time. The social interaction around meals and games has provided him with structure and a sense of belonging. Arts and Crafts time allows him to overcome some tactile sensory issues and makes him use his hands. The wide range of projects from coloring, cutting, using glue, painting and more keeps him interested. He is always so proud of himself when he brings home the projects.
A couple of months ago, we added weekly one on one community engagement time. Activities included: shopping, bowling, dining and a lot of walking. Together Jason and William explored many parts of the Eastside. These excursions have given Jason a chance to go out and see the community and a bit of independence from his family.
Guiding Hands is an important part of Jason's weekly schedule. They provide Jason with a secure environment in which he totally thrives."
